“It’s Josh Kaufman, everybody!”

“Josh Kaufman, everybody!” Said Carson Daly

Winner of US Voice season 6.

I’m not the biggest fan of this TV show but I often to watch it. This season was quite interesting to me, especially for the winner. Ya, Josh Kaufman wins! At first I saw this person just like a nerd and never thought that his voice will be stunning. He dressed up neatly in every performance completed with his glasses and sometimes added hat as his accessory.

He had to compete with Jake Worthington (who has beautiful country voice at his young age) and Christina Grimmie (who has beautiful and strong pop-rock voice). Josh Kaufman survived by his originality. He was the first stolen artist in the show who won the competition, and it’s also the first winning for Usher as one of the judges in the show. Usher and Shakira were the two new members as judge, formerly were Christina Aguilera and Cee-Lo Green. Usher and Shakira joined as judges since season 5 together with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton.

Let’s refresh the information of the winner of the show:

Season 1 : Javier Colon (represents team Adam Levine)

Season 2 : Jermaine Paul (represents team Blake Shelton)

Season 3 : Cassadee Pope (represents team Blake Shelton)

Season 4 : Danielle Bradbery (represent team Blake Shelton) –the youngest winner ever!

Season 5 : Tessanne Chin (represents team Adam Levine)

As we can see, Blake had win a lot.

Well, for this season, Usher could be proud both as a coach and a friend.

The Voice (Season 6)

On the fifth episode of the Blind Auditions broadcast on March 10, 2014, he performed George Michael‘s song “One More Try.” All four judges turned their chairs and Kaufman chose to join team Adam. Kaufman defeated fellow Team Adam member Austin Ellis in the Battles, Round 1. Kaufman lost his second battle round competition against Delvin Choice but was immediately stolen by Team Usher. Kaufman received the first iTunes bonus multiplier of the season, with his studio recording of “Stay With Me” reaching the fifth position on the iTunes Top 200 Singles chart at the close of the voting window.

On May 20, 2014, Kaufman was announced as the winner of Season 6 of The Voice, beating out runners-up Jake Worthington and Christina Grimmie and making him not only the first artist from Team Usher to win, but the first “stolen” artist to win and the first Caucasian male winner, besides also being the oldest participant to win the competition. “The Belgian Buble”

I got a friend who’s in love like crazy
Whenever he’s with this girl I know
You can’t imagine how much he’d love to
Open up and tell her so

Why is he shy
Cause she’s too good for just a regular guy
Picture a star
That sparkles like a diamond
She’s even more beautiful”

Above was lyric from “She’s Even More Beautiful” by Yannick Bovy

For some people who love to listen to jazzy-songs, maybe you need to add a new name to your collections. His name is Yannick Bovy. His voice is truly same with Michael Buble’s voice and so with his genre. Not so original jazz and not so pop. So, at first maybe you will expected the songs were sung by Buble instead of Yannick. Until you check at youtube or search by any medias, then you will find Yannick’s name instead of Buble. That’s how I did 😉

A little information about Yannick Bovy.
