Same Date Last Year – Life Goes On

I exactly remember each detail how I spent my New Year’s Eve last year.

I was with someone and we had a spectacular relationship, as far I remembered.

It also was my first celebration of welcoming New Year, which far from my family.

I used to celebrate New Year with my parents and sister.

But last year, it was different.

I was celebrating the New Year with some new friends and new environment.

I became the co-host so I did prepare and provide many things for the party.

I started from the early morning, prepared things; even I took a nap for a while to make everything gone well.

Almost nearly to midnight, we started the party with barbeque, sodas, alcohol, chips, and paying card.

It was so much fun for me.

A month later after the New Year, I had the relationship end.

It broke my heart for months.

…………..

During the year, time healed me well enough.

It was a slow moving time for me.

It was a slow process of healing for me.

But, in the middle of the year, I found new place to work, new friends, new ambience, new purposes, and unexpectedly new relationship.

I believe in the theory that “time heals almost everything”

So now, at the edge of this year, I took a little time to write all of this

To remind me how far I’ve become, how’s my achievements, and what I’ve got till now.

Feeling  grateful.

That’s a feeling that everyone should have.

Because a year again we have passed and a new year again we will face.

Today is the same date last year, and we still live

Same date last year and life goes on.

Happy New Year
